Alison is a Data UX Designer for Starbucks where she utilizes her experience working in Data Science and UX to advocate for users. Alison worked as a UX/UI Designer in NYC in the music and finance industries, building data visualization heavy products for brands such as SESAC, WarnerChappell, SONY/ATV and FINRA. Motivated to understand how the products she designed really worked, she went on to study data science and then worked as a BI Analyst. A designer at heart, Alison moved back into design, but in the niche intersection of Data and UX. Alison brings a user-first approach to the development of data centric products aimed at optimizing the user experience.
