Morvareed Salehpour

Morvareed Z. Salehpour is Managing Attorney of Salehpour Legal Consulting, a law firm specializing in assisting entrepreneurs, startups, and businesses to create and negotiate the strongest contracts and tech transactions for scaling and protecting their startups and businesses. Morvareed also counsels them on issues involved with their services offerings, product launches, and product feature launches such as intellectual property licensing and protection, open source issues, data and privacy rights, and use of emerging technology. Morvareed regularly represents SaaS, AI, analytics, software, and other technology startups/businesses in structuring master services agreements (MSAs), SAAS agreements, consultant agreements, licensing agreements, terms of services/terms and conditions, subscription agreements, reseller/referral agreements, joint venture/partnership agreements, beta agreements, data processing agreements (under GDPR and CCPA), subcontractor agreements, statement of works (SOWs), NDAs and confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements, SOC audit agreements, HIPAA business associate agreements, privacy policies, digital currency agreements, and government contracts and subcontracts, among many other agreements. Morvareed is a graduate of UCLA and UCLA School of Law, where she also served as a Managing Editor for the UCLA Law Review. She previously practiced at BakerHostetler, a national firm where her work included being a member of the legal team seeking to recover the principal lost in the Madoff Ponzi scheme. Morvareed works with clients in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and beyond. Morvareed is also President of the Santa Monica Bar Association, Board Member and Career Chair for the UCLA Alumni Westside Bruins Network, Board Member and Co-Event Chair of UCLA Law Women LEAD, and a regular speaker and writer on tech and business law issues.
