Will the nursing station in Tutor Campus Center (TCC) be available on 8/13? If so, can you please share the information (number to call to open the room, what the room number is?)
The Lactation Room is located on the 3rd floor of the Tutor Campus Center (TCC 315). You can contact the front desk on the first floor at 213-821-7822, or request it to be opened in-person. Unfortunately, during the summer, Campus Center staff is not fully staffed on weekends, so there may not be staff at the front desk this Saturday. Apologies for the inconvenience.
If for some reason medical attention is needed, should we direct them to the health center on campus or just call the Department of Public Safety (DPS)?
You may direct people to the health center; however, depending on the severity of the medical attention required, you may reach out to DPS, who will be able to assist in escorting attendees. The number to DPS is 213-740-4321.
Covid-19 Requirements- While widespread vaccines in the US have dramatically reduced both hospitalizations and deaths, new variants continue to spread and cases are on the rise. To ensure the safety of our staff and attendees, we will have a vaccine-or-test mandate as well as a mask mandate. During check-in, badges will be printed behind the desk, and to get your badge you will need to show both:
ID
Proof of vaccination or a negative FDA-approved lab-based test result with your name on it that was done within 72 hours
Once you have your badge you will be free to come and go as you please for the remainder of the conference.
Attendees will be expected to keep a mask over their nose and mouth while indoors except while actively eating or drinking. Speakers will not be required to wear masks while on stage.

Check-in begins at 7:30 AM. Arrive early to get the best parking spot and the best seat for the keynotes in Bovard.

Alternate route for those north of Downtown, traveling south on I-5: Exit directly to the 110 south and follow it just past Downtown to Exposition Boulevard - Take the Exposition Boulevard exit
- Go across Flower Street and Figueroa Street
- Turn right into the main University Park campus entrance at Exposition Boulevard and Pardee Way
- Take the 105 (Century) Freeway east
- Transition to the 110 (Harbor) Freeway north
- Take the Exposition Boulevard exit
- Go straight through the light at 37th Street light, keeping left
- Continue under the freeway bridge and across Flower Street and Figueroa Street
- Turn right into the main University Park campus entrance at Exposition Boulevard and Pardee Way
On the USC campus, park at Royal Street Parking Structure (Formerly PSD)

ACCESS: Parking cost is $20 for the event. Entrance via USC Gate #5 at McClintock and Jefferson. Pick up the parking pass and drive down 34th St. to PSD
Nearby parking is only a block away at the California Science Center
ADDRESS: 700 Exposition Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90037
ACCESS: Parking cost is $15 for the day. Due to construction activities in and around Exposition Park, traffic may occasionally be congested at 39th and Figueroa. As an alternative, you may also enter the park from Martin Luther King Blvd. at Hoover Avenue on the south side of the park.
The Metro expo line serves the USC community. Get off at the Expo Park/ USC train station and walk towards USC. You will enter through Trousdale Pkway.
The event registration will be at Bovard which is approx a 5 min walk on your left.
