Xavier Kochhar is the CEO of XKE, a media investment and integration firm that injects capital and resources into IP, content, production services, and monetization companies across the digital, OTT and linear network ecosystem. Over the last 25+ years, Xavier has held multiple investment and operational c-suite seats, overseeing operations, finance, corporate strategy and development in those roles. He has been both a buyer and seller of content, as well as a buyer and seller of companies. Xavier was the founder and CEO of The Video Genome Project, one of the first AI companies in Hollywood. The company developed and deployed the premier video personalization engine for OTT video platforms. The VGP programmatically built the largest, broadest, and most granular structured database of video content metadata. The Video Genome Project was acquired by hulu (Disney) to create a more powerful way to surface the right content to the right user at the right time, in both live and on-demand environments. Xavier was the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer of Warner Brothers Discovery (HBO Max) and later in the parent company’s (AT&T Inc.) Corporate Strategy and M&A group. Xavier was also the COO and CFO of digital content studio pocket.watch, home to some of the world's biggest YouTube and TikTok creators. Prior, he was the first Managing Partner and part of the initial management team at Medialink, acq. by United Talent Agency (UTA), and has served in senior executive roles at The Walt Disney Company, WME, and L.E.K. Consulting. He began his career as an investment banker, doing M&A, private placements, and IPOs for media and technology companies at Royal Bank of Canada.
