Pooja Tekchandani

Pooja has practiced law in California for over 18 years, specializing in technology transactions and AI governance across diverse industries including Technology, Fashion, Consumer Products, and Media & Entertainment. Her career spans both BigLaw and high-growth in-house environments, from mergers and acquisitions at Sidley Austin LLP to serving as the first attorney at Nasty Gal during their Series B funding and rapid scaling. At TOMS Shoes, she drove legal strategy for global e-commerce expansion, and most recently served as a legal executive with Warner Bros. Discovery, where she worked closely with the data analytics teams and played a key role on the AI governance and policy committee—advising C-suite executives on responsible AI implementation and procurement across the enterprise. As one of the few women at the intersection of law and AI policy, Pooja has established herself as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on emerging technology risks and opportunities. Outside the office, she enjoys cycling with her children, volunteering at animal rescue organizations, and traveling.
