Sara Nourazari, PhD

Dr. Sara Nourazari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Care Management at California State University, Long Beach. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, along with MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering.Her work bridges data science and systems engineering, applying advanced analytics and machine learning to healthcare operations and decision support systems. Her current research focuses on the role of ethical AI and data governance in healthcare operations, with an emphasis on responsible and human-centered solutions. Dr. Nourazari is a well-published scholar and the recipient of multiple grants, including the CSU AI Educational Innovations Challenge award.
