Sebastian Vasquez

Sebastian Vasquez is a data professional, currently a BI Analyst at Pinterest within a team that supports enterprise advertisers. Prior to joining Pinterest, Sebastian worked at fast-paced, competitive spaces including TikTok, Meta, and the LA Mayor’s Office.

Sebastian has a passion for data visualization and data storytelling, and leverages SQL, Python, Superset, Tableau, and similar technologies in his day-to-day.

His career started on the business side in the advertising industry, supporting and managing accounts in mid-size ad agencies. Sebastian’s career pivot from business to technical was sparked by his time in software sales at LA-based NationBuilder, where he had to configure clients’ databases within the platform.

He worked for many years as a Data Analytics instructor at General Assembly and Data Analytics Mentor at CareerFoundry.

Sebastian, his wife, and daughter live in Los Angeles, and he is a proud Colombian immigrant.
