Rae Wang is an Associate Director of Healthcare Analytics at Optum, where she leads analytics initiatives supporting healthcare operations across the West Region. She works at the intersection of business analytics, Healthcare operations, and enterprise transformation, partnering with operational and executive leaders to build data-driven capabilities that strengthen organizational decision-making.
Since joining Optum, Rae has worked through multiple waves of enterprise system modernization and organizational integration, helping analytics evolve alongside changing business priorities, operational workflows, and organizational structures. Those experiences shifted her perspective from delivering reports to designing solutions that enable organizations to navigate complexity and adapt through change.
Rae is interested in how analytics teams can expand their impact beyond reporting by applying systems thinking, strengthening operational partnerships, and building scalable capabilities that evolve alongside the organizations they support.
